West River Head Start Web Site: http://www.westriverheadstart.org Contact: JoAnn Brager West River Head Start serves 168 children and their families through comprehensive and holistic services in Mercer, Morton, Oliver and Grant Counties. Head Start centers are located in Beulah, Carson, Elgin, Hazen, Hebron, Mandan and New Salem. Mandan also serves as the main administrative site and has five classrooms. Site addresses and more information is available on our web site. All classrooms operate Monday through Thursday beginning in September and ending in May of each year. Each classroom has a combination of half-day and full-day students. West River Head Start is dedicated to the empowerment of children, families, and staff through community partnerships in order to provide exceptional services in a holistic environment.
