Make Your Family Count

Nationally, 34.7% of the country has already completed the census. Has your Head Start community been counted? Now’s the time!

When you complete the census, make sure to count everyone who is living in your home. Questions about who you should count in your home?

In the midst of the COVID-19 public health crisis, it’s important to know that it has never been easier to respond to the census without leaving home. You should have received your census invitation in the mail, and you can use it to respond online, over the phone, or by mail, all without having to meet a census taker or even go to the post office.

If you didn’t receive anything in the mail, it’s still easy to respond online – you just have to enter your address as well in order to be counted.

The Census Bureau is adapting operations as needed, but the goal remains the same – to ensure a complete and accurate count of everyone across the country, including children.
